The hippie hippie shake! Honey Boo Boo turns flower child as she tries out new style while filming reality show

Like any seven-year-old girl, Honey Boo Boo loves to dress up.
But when she isn’t dressed simply in a bright T-shirt and jeans, the reality star is usually seen glammed up for a beauty pageant.
However the youngster, whose real name is Alana Thompson, tried out a different style on Wednesday.

The beauty queen was seen harking back to the 1960s as she turned hippie for the day.
Alana was sporting a black poncho which had rainbow coloured peace and heart symbols and the word ‘love’ printed repeatedly across it.
The fringed top also had a big glittery silver heart on it and Alana wore it over a lime green top.

The former Toddlers and Tiaras star was otherwise casually dressed in jeans and trainers.
She was filming scenes for her hit show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo outside her family’s home in McIntyre, Georgia.
And it seems that as Alana gets older, she is becoming more and more interested in the making of the TV series.

My turn: Alana got behind the camera and looked through the viewfinder while her mother June relaxed on a lawn chair

The star was seen playing with one of the cameras and gazing into the viewfinder as her mother Mama June sat in a lawn chair.
She may be busy with school, beauty pageants and filming her show, but Alana has found time for some extracurricular activities and recently joined the Girl Scouts.
Honey Boo Boo was admonished by the organisation for not following their cookie selling rules, but it seems all is well once more after June posted a photo of her daughter in a Girl Scout T-shirt to her official Facebook page.
